Africa Cup Of Nations
The main international football competition in Africa is held every two years, with teams represented by countries including Sudan, Ethiopia, Egypt, Gabon, Ivory Coast and Guinea.
In 2015, the Africa Cup of Nations final was held on February 8, with the tournament crowning Ivory Coast as the champion. Runners-up Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, and DR Congo, along with the winner, are expected to all get to the finals in 2017.
The 2017 Africa Cup of Nations will be held in Gabon, from January 14 to February 5.
The Winter X Games
The yearly sporting event broadcasted by American channel ESPN focuses on winter extreme sports. For the event happening from January 26 to 29, athletes will showcase their skills with snowboarding and skiing. The Winter X Games will be held in Aspen, Colorado, USA.
The Australian Open
