All About Jo Koy

Comedian Jo Koy is an American stand-up comedian and actor who has been in the comedy scene for over two decades. He has established himself as one of the most popular and highly respected comedians in the business today. 

Originally from Tacoma, Washington, Jo Koy began performing stand-up comedy in Las Vegas in 1994. His comedy career quickly took off, with performances at the iconic Comedy Store, The Improv and The Laugh Factory in Los Angeles. In 2005, he appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, launching his career to a whole new level of success. 

Jo Koy has since made numerous appearances on late night talk shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Conan, Lopez Tonight, and Chelsea Lately. He has also toured with comedian Dane Cook and had his own one-hour Comedy Central special. 

In addition to his stand-up comedy performances, Jo Koy has appeared in several comedy films and shows, including The House Bunny, The Rocker and the sitcoms The Mindy Project and Whitney. He currently hosts his own podcast called The Koy Pond with Jo Koy.
