The Wiggles have been making history for years, and their concerts are terrific for kids and adults alike. With so many men and women in their thirties now having grown up with The Wiggles can now share the fun with their friends and their children too, by going to see them on tour.
The Wiggles have been touring the world for three decades, entertaining millions of fans. They began in 1991, when Anthony Field, the band's founder, had the notion of creating a children's album. Anthony Field, Murray Cook, Greg Page, whom Anthony met at university, Jeff Fatt, a fellow musician from The Cockroaches, and classical music composer Phillip Wilcher made formed the initial Wiggles line-up. For a season, Sam Moran also played The Yellow Wiggle. The current Wiggles line-up features Anthony Field (The Blue Wiggle), Emma Watkins (The Yellow Wiggle), Lachy Gillespie (The Purple Wiggle), and Simon Pryce (The Red Wiggle). They have been recording and performing together since 2013.
The Wiggles have created a lasting impression on the world stage with their distinctive blend of brilliant music, entertaining live performances, and consistent and creative originality. They've used that enthusiasm to teach and help children better comprehend the world they live in over a 30-year musical journey that has brought them around the world.
