Norwegian synth-pop legends A-ha are touring Australia with special guest Rick Astley in tow.

Hunting High and Low was the band’s debut record, released way back in June 1985. Propelled by its lead single, a little song called ‘Take On Me’, the album was a huge commercial success, going on to sell around 11 million copies worldwide.The band will play the album in full on the tour, which will take place in February and March of next year, to celebrate its 35th anniversary.

“Australia was the country we played our first ever live concerts and was our first brush with worldwide fame,” says the band’s Magne Furuholmen about the tour. “It was a thrilling adventure to be there on the opposite side of the world and it’s a thrill to return in 2020 – finally we will be back where it all started!”

Musician and viral sensation Rick Astley is also coming along for the ride, performing ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ among other hits from across the English singer’s back catalogue.
