Highlight - anything but beastly boyband

Formerly known as Beast, K-Pop sensations Highlight are one of South Korea's most enduring male idol groups. Check out the rebranded boyband in action by booking your Highlight tickets on The Ticket Merchant. Don't miss out!

From MTV reality shows to multiple mini albums

Formed by Cube Entertainment in 2009, Son Dong-woon, Yoon Doo-joon, Yang Yo-soeb, Lee Gi-kwang, Jang Hyun-seung and Yong Jun-hyung first began recording music under the guise of Beast (often stylised as B2ST). The group first caught national attention with an MTV reality show before releasing mini albums "Beast is the B2ST" and "Shock of the New Era" in 2010, performing at the Youth Games in Singapore and collaborating with Omarion at the Mnet Awards. The group's winning streak continued with further mini albums "Lights Go On Again" and "Mastermind," their eponymous first Japanese release and a sold-out first concert at Seoul's Jamsil Indoor Stadium. Their first full-length studio effort, "Fiction and Fact," arrived in 2011 and was followed by "So Beast" and "Hard to Love, How to Love" as well as mini albums "Good Luck," "Time" and "Ordinary." Following Hyun-seung's departure in 2016, the group decided to continue as a quintet, releasing a third LP, "Highlight," just months later. After parting ways with Cube Entertainment, they launched their own label, Around Us Entertainment, and renamed themselves Highlight. You can both buy Highlight tickets on The Ticket Merchant now.

A prolific touring act

Highlight first hit the road in 2010 for the "Welcome to Beast Airlines" show and haven't stopped touring since. They visited 12 different countries, including Germany, Indonesia and Thailand, during 2012's "Beautiful World" trek, performed sold-out two-night runs at Seoul's Olympic Gymnastics Arena for four years running and spent the summer of 2016 touring 10 different Japanese cities as part of the "Guess Who?" tour. They have remained a prolific live act since changing their name to Highlight, celebrating their rebirth with headline shows in Seoul, Busan, Hong Kong, Taipei and Tokyo, just to name a few, in support of their mini albums, "Can You Feel It?" and "Highlight." Their army of fans should therefore expect an accomplished set in which the quintet showcase their energetic dance routines, flawless vocals and magnetic stage presence while delivering chart-topping hits, such as "Will You Be Alright?," "Saigo no Hitokoto" and "Plz Don't Be Sad."
