About

Rammstein first broke into the American charts with "Du Hast," a play on the German phrase for "You Hate." In more than a decade's time, they have gone from hate to love, releasing the long-awaited album Liebe Ist Für Alle Da - "Love is for Everyone." Awfully cheery for a band that named themselves after one of Germany's most famous air disasters, but the boys in Rammstein love to keep folks on their toes. Since the band formed in 1994, they've released seven studio albums and have kept the same lineup.

Rammstein have long been kings in Germany's metal world. Their ear-pounding anthems and dark lyrical material have always appealed to hardcore rock fans. In fact, they found a significant U.S. audience after being handpicked by none other than Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails for the soundtrack to Lost Highway, a film Reznor worked on with director David Lynch. That's not to say dark rainclouds follow Rammstein around - they know how to have fun at their concerts, too. Rammstein have long been kings in Germany's metal world.
