ROGER WATERS AUSTRALIAN TOUR TICKETS

About

George Roger Waters is an English songwriter, singer, bassist, and composer. In 1965, he co-founded the progressive rock band Pink Floyd with drummer Nick Mason, keyboardist Richard Wright, rhythm guitarist Bob Klose, as well as lead guitarist, singer, and songwriter Syd Barrett. Waters initially served as the bassist, but following the departure of Barrett in 1968, he also became their lyricist, co-lead vocalist, and conceptual leader.

Pink Floyd achieved international success with the concept albums The Dark Side of the MoonWish You Were HereAnimals, and The Wall. By the early 1980s, they had become one of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful groups in popular music; by 2013, they had sold more than 250 million albums worldwide. Amid creative differences, Waters left in 1985 and began a legal dispute with the remaining members over their use of the band's name and material. They settled out of court in 1987.

Rock icon and former Pink Floyd member Roger Waters announced a monster 2018 Australian tour, after teasing a big announcement prior to this.

Waters’ ‘Us + Them’ tour made its way to arenas in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in February, as part of the muso’s first Aussie jaunt since ‘The Wall Live’ back in 2012. The tour saw Waters and his band play classic Pink Floyd tracks, as well as a bunch of cuts from Waters’ solo discography, alongside a state-of-the-art audio/visual production.
