STRAY KIDS AUSTRALIAN TOUR 2023

About

South Korea continues to deliver boy bands who produce monster hits that dominate the charts and the latest to that ever growing list is Stray Kids. With their latest album, Maxident, reporting over 2 million presales and their mini album Oddinairy dominating the charts for seven straight weeks. Made up of the members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N, the group was formed in 2017 from the results of the reality tv show, Stray Kids, from which the band got their name.

Stray Kids debuted on March 25, 2018, with the extended play (EP) titled I am NOT. The group's music is primarily described as rap and hip-hop, and their lyrics often focus on themes such as youth, mental health, and social issues. The group has released four studio albums, GO (2020), GO生 (2020), IN生 (2021), and SKZ2020 (2021). They also have released two live albums, Unveil: Tokyo Live (2019) and Unveil: Barcelona Live (2020), and one live video album, Unveil: Osaka Live (2020). As of 2021, they have been nominated for over 30 awards, and won 8 of them, including the 2020 Melon Music Awards Best Dance Performance. The group is also known for their philanthropic activities, such as donating to victims of the 2020 Gangwon wildfires, and donating masks to medical workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The band currently consists of eight members, Hyunjin, Felix, Bang Chan, Lee Know, I.N, Changbin, Han, and Seungmin. There were originally nine members when the group debuted in 2018. Kim Woojin was one of the original members but in 2019 he parted ways with the group due to personal reasons.

How much do Stray Kids tickets cost?

For The Stray Kids most recent tour, titled ‘The Maniac World Tour’,  ticket prices in Australia started from $119 and went up to $417 for soundcheck and VIP tickets.

From this, it can be assumed that for the next Stray Kids tour the tickets will be around $120 but may start at more expensive prices as this would be their third world tour. Average front row seats in the USA for a Stray Kids concert cost around $650 USD.

Will Stray Kids return to Australia?

Although Stray Kids only toured recently in 2022, there is a high chance that they will be returning for another tour very soon. There was only a four year gap between Stray Kids' previous Australian tour ‘Unveil Tour “I am…” which happened in 2019 and their latest tour “MANIAC” which happened in 2022. This means that the next Stray Kids Australian tour should most likely be in 2026 or hopefully earlier.

Their last tour ‘MANIAC’ received four and half out of five stars by The AU Review and all four of their Australian shows were sold out.

For their previous tour, Stray Kids did shows in Melbourne and Sydney. So hopefully for their next world tour they will add some more Australian Cities.
