Jamell Demons, known professionally as YNW Melly, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Gifford, Florida. He is best known for his songs "Murder on My Mind", "Mixed Personalities", and "Suicidal". The first is considered his breakout, which garnered even further attention after the rapper was charged with the double-murder of two members of the YNW hip-hop collective. He released his debut album, Melly vs. Melvin, on November 22, 2019.
