L.A.B, short for Laughalots and Ballads, is a New Zealand reggae, rock, and roots music group formed in 2014. The group consists of vocalist and guitarist Joel Shadbolt, lead guitarist/bassist Brad Kora, and drummer Ara Adams-Tamatea. 

The group is heavily influenced by classic reggae, rock, and blues music. They draw on influences from Bob Marley and the Wailers, Toots & the Maytals, UB40, and The Beatles. They are also influenced by New Zealand's music scene, with Shadbolt citing The Black Seeds, Kora citing Six60, and Adams-Tamatea citing Fat Freddy's Drop as influences. 

L.A.B has released two studio albums, L.A.B (2015) and L.A.B II (2018). Their hit singles include "In the Air", "L.A.B", "Walking in the Sunshine", "Let You Go", and "No Other". Their 2018 album, L.A.B II, debuted at number one in New Zealand and was certified gold. They have also headlined both the New Zealand and Australian leg of the Pacific Reggae Festival and have toured with artists such as Six60 and Tiki Taane.

In Australia, the band has toured major cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide, playing in venues such as the Metro Theatre and The Corner Hotel. They have also performed at major festivals such as Groovin the Moo, Splendour in the Grass, and Byron Bay Bluesfest.
