Leichhardt Oval, located in Lilyfield, New South Wales, serves as a rugby league and soccer stadium. It currently stands as one of the Wests Tigers' three home grounds in the National Rugby League (NRL), alongside Campbelltown Stadium and Western Sydney Stadium. Before the amalgamation with the Western Suburbs Magpies, it was the historic home of the Balmain Tigers from 1934 to 1994 and again from 1997 to 1999. The stadium was named after Ludwig Leichhardt.

Since Balmain's inaugural game against Western Suburbs in Round 1 of the 1934 NSWRFL season on ANZAC Day, Leichhardt Oval has been an active host for rugby league. It holds the distinction, as of July 2012, of being the most utilized Australian professional rugby league ground in the NRL, having witnessed 794 games.
