BRITISH & IRISH LIONS RUGBY TICKETS 2025 - AUSTRALIA

About

The British Irish Lions is arguably the greatest rugby tour in the world and in 2025 the best players from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales will converge on Australia.

There will be nine matches overall which will take place in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Canberra and Adelaide.

The 2017 Lions Tour of New Zealand saw one of the most exciting tours ever with so many unforgettable moments; Sean O’Brien’s try – arguably one of the best in Lions’ history; Owen Farrell’s 77th minute winning penalty in Wellington – the end of the All Blacks’ 47-match home winning streak; the penalty two minutes from time in Auckland to infamously level the match and series. There’s no doubt that the 2025 tour of Australia will evoke similar memories for those lucky enough to witness it.

The Lions have been in good form recently so should be confident of bringing back a famous series victory. Coach Warren Gatland has also confirmed he will take charge of this third British Irish Lions tour in South Africa.

Gatland lead the Lions to a dramatic series draw against New Zealand in 2017 and a 2-1 series win over Australia in 2013. The Kiwi is now set to do so again when the Home Nations team travel to the face the Springboks.

Thousands of fans are expected to visit one of the greatest rugby nations on earth for a once in a lifetime rugby experience. The opportunity to visit some of the most iconic rugby grounds in the world and take in some of Australia's iconic locations.

Their first series win since 1997 and went to the deciding Test match in Sydney in front of the one of the biggest British & Irish Lions crowds ever. The Tour to Australia in 2013 was also a memorable tour across one of the most beautiful countries in the world and was a crowning glory for head coach Warren Gatland.

This was the Lions’ first Tour to Australia since 2001 and under the captaincy of Sam Warburton, they got off to a winning start in Brisbane. George North scored one of the greatest Lions Test tries of all time in a nervy victory in front of thousands of Lions fans.

Ahead of the second Test in Melbourne, Australia was awash with red as fans soaked up the delights of the Whitsunday Islands, Cairns, the Gold Coast, Uluru and much more. The Wallabies ground their way to victory to level the series and take four years of work down to the final 80 minutes in Sydney.
