In Round 9 the Carlton Blues will host the Melbourne Demons at the MCG on a Friday Night, reminiscent of the 2023 Semi Final where these two sides played out an epic and a late Blake Acres goal sent the Blues marching to a Preliminary Final. There is sure to be heat in this one. 

Friday Night Football returns to GMHBA Stadium as the Geelong Cats host the Port Adelaide Power, where Esava Ratugolea will meet his old side for the first time since defecting from Kardinia Park in the off season.

Hawthorn will welcome St.Kilda to the Apple Isle as the two sides clash at UTAS Stadium in Launceston whilst Essendon and GWS will play for the 4 points under the Marvel Stadium Roof. Saturday Night football leads to the MCG with Richmond hosting the Western Bulldogs at the MCG, in what could prove to be a decisive matchup for these two sides' finals aspirations. The Gold Coast Suns host North Melbourne in Darwin to round out a super saturday of football.

Sunday sees the reinging premiers host the wooden spooners at Marvel Stadium, with Collingwood and West Coast tussling.
