About
Central Coast Stadium, known commercially as Industree Group Stadium is a sports venue in Gosford, on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. The stadium is home to the Central Coast Mariners association football club which competes in the A-League.
This scenic stadium was inaugurated in 2000, situated on the grounds of the former Grahame Park. With a capacity of 20,000, the venue showcases mirrored grandstands flanking the pitch, boasting two tiers of seating and corporate amenities. While one end accommodates seating, the other end lacks spectator facilities, showcasing a video screen and palm trees to offer a vista of the water.
Initially constructed as the home ground for the combined NRL club Northern Eagles, Central Coast Stadium hosted half of their home games, with the remainder held at Brookvale Oval. However, due to low attendance in Gosford, all home matches were relocated to Brookvale by mid-2002. Eventually, the club returned to the Manly Sea Eagles moniker, leaving Central Coast Stadium without a primary resident team.
Central Coast Stadium is home to the Central Coast Mariners, an original A-League club, and also hosts NRL and Super Rugby matches on occasion. It served as a venue for multiple games during the 2003 Rugby World Cup and has gone through name changes, now known as Industree Group Stadium. Recent upgrades include a larger screen, better player facilities, improved seating, and LED floodlight installation.
