McDonald Jones Stadium, previously referred to as Newcastle International Sports Centre, serves as a versatile sports stadium in Newcastle, Australia. It is the home ground for the Newcastle Knights (National Rugby League) and Newcastle Jets FC (A-League). Owned by the Government of New South Wales and managed by Venues NSW, the stadium has gone by various names due to past sponsorship deals, including Marathon Stadium, EnergyAustralia Stadium, Ausgrid Stadium, and Hunter Stadium. During AFC competitions, conflicting sponsorship necessitates the usage of the name Newcastle Stadium for the venue.

Announced in June 2018, proposals detailed the construction of a $20 million Centre of Excellence for the Newcastle Knights, situated at the stadium's southern end. The NSW government contributed $10 million, while the remaining $10 million was funded by The Wests Group, owners of the Knights.[16]
