THE RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP TICKETS & FIXTURES

About

Queensland will host the Rugby Championship games across four straight weekends with matches to be played across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Townsville.

The Wallabies’ postponed third Bledisloe Cup/Rugby Championship Test against New Zealand’s All Blacks is set to be played at Perth’s Optus Stadium with Rugby Australia hoping to confirm the date this week. It will be the first time the venue has hosted a rugby Test since the Wallabies’ 47-26 victory against the All Blacks in 2019.

For the first time since South Africa won the 2019 World Cup the Wallabies will take on the Springboks on 12 September before a second showdown in Brisbane six days later. New Zealand will take on Argentina that same weekend.

The sides will then head to Brisbane on September 18 before the action heads to Townsville a week later where the Wallabies will face Argentina.

The centurion match between New Zealand and South Africa will take place on September 25 with the series set to end in the Gold Coast on October 2.

“This is a world Ruby first and a truly special celebration of the game, in what I see as a once-in-a-lifetime event” said RA CEO Andy Marinos, thanking the Queensland Premier, the Queensland Chief Health Officer and the Department of Tourism, Innovation and sport for making it possible.

“What a fantastic tournament ahead for fans in Queensland. Four unmissable back-to back double-headers featuring four of the very best Test nations in World Rugby”.
