Who is BTS?

Who Are the BTS Members?
BTS consists of seven members who are all talented in their own respects:

BTS formed between 2010 and 2012, before their debut in 2013. Jimin was the last member to join the boy group in 2012 when he was only 16 years old. However, Jung Kook is the youngest member of the group, having joined when he was 15.
What Does BTS Stand For?
Thousands of people know the K-Pop group name, BTS, but don’t actually know what it stands for. BTS is short for Bangtan Sonyeondan, which translates to ‘Bulletproof Boy Scouts’.
BTS Greatest Hits
After their debut in June of 2013 with the single "No More Dream," BTS released a number of EPs and a debut album that won them fans from all over the globe. BTS have proven themselves to be a fierce and feisty group, and they have already garnered a number of major awards from Korean tastemaking institutions, such as the MelOn Music Awards in 2013, the Golden Disk Awards in 2014 and 2015, the Seoul Music Awards in 2014 and 2015 and the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards in 2014 and 2015.
BTS's first big hit in the US was their EP, Skool Luv Affair, which rose to No. 3 on the Top World Albums chart in 2014. That same year, Dark & Wild, Vol. 1 was released in the US, again claiming the No. 3 Top World Albums spot as well as making it onto the Top Heatseekers chart.

How Long is a BTS Concert?

Does BTS Have Any Upcoming Concerts?
Unfortunately, there are no BTS live concerts planned for the foreseeable future. The band announced their hiatus in December 2021 after eight years of being together, telling their fans they were taking a break.
Multiple of the members in BTS have enlisted to join the South Korean military at the end of 2023 to complete their mandatory service. The boys have announced their hopes and plans to get the boy group back together at some stage in 2025, once their service is complete.
