After releasing their debut album ‘Songs About Jane’ in June 2002, their popularity skyrocketed after a quiet few years performing as a band. They were nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy’s and won in 2002. Their hit singles of that year were ‘Harder to Breathe’, ‘This Love’ and ‘She Will Be Loved’. The album was a cultural and financial success, going quadruple platinum in 2005, even though it only stayed at Number 6 on the Billboard Top 200 charts.

Only a couple of years later they released ‘Hands All Over’, another successful album that topped the Billboard Hot 100. It had one of their most successful singles till date, which was the iconic song ‘Moves Like Jagger’.

They continued their streak by dropping ‘Overexposed’ whose lead single ‘One More Night’ topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for nine weeks consecutively.

After releasing ‘V’, they signed to Interscope records and permanently brought on their longtime collaborator Sam Farrar to be the official seventh member of the troupe. With him on board, they released ‘Red Pill Blues’ in 2017 with popular tracks like ‘Sugar’ and ‘Girls Like You’. Their last release, ‘Jordi’ in 2021, was named in tribute to their manager Jordan Feldstein (who passed in 2017) and featured a dance-inspired setlist of tracks and several prominent musicians, such as Blackbear, Stevie Nicks, Megan Thee Stallion, H.E.R, Y.G and the late rapper Juice Wrld.
