All About Wallows

Wallows is an American indie rock band that emerged from the vibrant Los Angeles music scene. Formed in 2017, the band quickly gained recognition for their catchy melodies and relatable lyrics, resonating with a wide range of fans. Their breakthrough came with the release of their hit single "Pleaser," which showcased their knack for blending indie and surf rock influences.

The band consists of Dylan Minnette, who serves as the lead vocalist and guitarist; Braeden Lemasters, also a vocalist and guitarist and Cole Preston, who handles drums and occasionally contributes vocals. Together, their fresh energy in the indie music landscape brings a sound that's both nostalgic and contemporary. Their chemistry on stage and off is what makes the band so lovable, making Wallows a standout act in the indie rock genre.  

The alt-rock band will be going on tour in 2024 in celebration of their third album 'Model' which releases in May of 2024.

The band is made up of longtime childhood friends, Dylan Minette, Braeden Lemasters and Cole Preston who released their debut album 'Nothing Happens' in 2019. Fans can expect to hear some of their favourite songs on tour such as 'Ok' and 'Are You Bored Yet?'

What Defines Wallow’s Unique Sound and Style?

Wallows draws from a lot of influences from the 90s alt-rock and 80 synth pop era, mainly jangly guitars, sing-a-long hooks and solid basslines. By introducing their electronic elements, they were able to create their stand-out sound. They also have a distinct lyrical depth when it comes to their songs, creating a fan base that’s in love with their emotional authenticity on the stage.
