The Sharks have pulled off a significant recruitment move for the 2025 season by securing the services of Addin Fonua-Blake, the Dally M Prop of the Year. Craig Fitzgibbon, the Sharks' coach, expressed his enthusiasm about enhancing the quality and depth of his forward pack starting from 2025 with Fonua-Blake's addition. Following the announcement of the signing, Warriors CEO Cameron George confirmed that the agreement did not involve a player swap option.

Additionally, notable player movements include Bronson Xerri's return from suspension, Stephen Crichton joining from the Panthers, and acquisitions of Connor Tracey, Blake Taaffe, Jaeman Salmon, Josh Curran, Drew Hutchison, Kurt Mann, Jake Turpin, Poasa Faamausili, Jake Averillo, among others. Tevita Pangai Junior retired, while various players like Kyle Flanagan, Paul Alamoti, Luke Thompson, Corey Waddell, Braidon Burns, Declan Casey, and Michael Gabrael moved to different teams or training programs.
