About

The upcoming 2024 NRL season marks the 117th year of professional rugby league in Australia and the league's 27th season managed by the National Rugby League. The team lineup remains consistent after the previous season's inclusion of the Dolphins, comprising seventeen teams: ten from New South Wales, four from Queensland, and one each from Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, and New Zealand.

Scheduled from February 15 to February 25, 2024, sixteen pre-season matches will set the stage for the upcoming season.

The regular season kicks off with a unique split-round opening at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Sydney Roosters will face the Brisbane Broncos, while the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs on March 2, 2024. Notably, the Broncos and Sea Eagles will make history as the first two NRL teams to compete in three different countries during the regular season: Australia, New Zealand, and the United States of America.
