2021 State of Origin Tickets

The biggest rivalry in Rugby League is set to resume next week, and no matter whether you’re red or blue, you do not want to miss out!  

Queensland and New South Wales are set to lock horns once again in the 2021 State of Origin Series, but this year’s three-game series will take a slightly different look. 

With Victoria going into a seven-day lockdown, the NRL have, at short notice, relocated the opening fixture of the series to the Queensland Country Bank stadium. It will mean that for the first time since 2017, current shield holders, Queensland, will now play both opening matches at home. 

Despite the Reds’ home advantage, the Blues could be the outright favourites this time around. With question marks arising over the availability of several Queensland stars, including last year’s Wally Lewis medalist Cameron Munster, the Blues stand an excellent chance of turning the Reds over next week. 

NSW head coach Brad Fittler is set to bring in multiple in-form stars from his former club Penrith, with current co-captains Nathan Cleary and Isaah Yeo set to run out next Wednesday alongside resurgent Rabbitohs star Latrell Mitchell.

Round 20: Brisbane Broncos vs North Queensland Cowboys - 30 July 2021

The derby that always delivers. It’s been a tough year for the Broncos who currently sit 15th on the ladder, but they’re miraculously only four points off the top eight. We’re in for a Saturday night thriller with this top of the table clash. Melbourne Storm will host the Penrith Panthers at the AAMI Park in a replay of last year’s Grand Final. And if there’s any team that can knock the Panthers off their perch this year, it’s definitely the Storm.
