The upcoming NRL season in 2024 marks the 117th season of professional rugby league in Australia and the 27th under the National Rugby League's management.

Following the addition of the Dolphins in the previous season, the league's team lineup remains unchanged, featuring seventeen teams in the regular season: ten from New South Wales, four from Queensland, and one each from Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, and New Zealand. A set of 16 pre-season matches is scheduled to run from February 15 to February 25, 2024.

The NRL season kicks off uniquely with a split-round, debuting with a double-header at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. This opening spectacle features the Sydney Roosters facing the Brisbane Broncos and the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles taking on the South Sydney Rabbitohs on March 2, 2024. Subsequently, the Broncos and Sea Eagles will set a historic milestone as the first two teams in NRL history to play matches across three different countries during the regular season, spanning Australia, New Zealand, and the United States of America.
